WHAT'S BEHAVIOR2000?
http://oll.temple.edu/orgstudies/b2k.htm

Behavior2000 (B2K) is a listserver and web archive system for general purpos=
e
communications about behavior analysis and natural science of behavior issue=
s
in today's world.

While Behavior2000 is "about" those topics and issues, it is open to the
general electronic public, courtesy of Temple University.

B2K is by design an unmoderated listserver. While created and administered b=
y
Dave Feeney, the speech of subscribers is NOT subject to official moderation=
.
The naturally selective contingencies maintained by the Behavior2000 group
will comprise the extent of moderation of individual speech. Such naturally
selective moderation includes:

Counterargument: Posting more speech about the topic, issue or target of
moderation, as well as...

Quitting: The opportunity for removing oneself from the Behavior2000 group b=
y
unsubscribing.

WHY BEHAVIOR2000?

Behavior2000 is a modern updating of a classic communications system, the
listserver with web archive. Behavior2000 allows "general admission" via
simple, easy to use email.

No WWW browser is required to subscribe, get or send messages, but WWW users
may use a browser to do so. Directions to sub or unsub to Behavior2000 via
email are at bottom of this document.

Once you're subscribed, you may use B2K web archive, available through our
Portal page, to view and search all posts. You can enter Archives via the
Portal page:

BEHAVIOR2000 OFFERS YOU:

Organizational Studies, a distance degree program focusing on organizations,
technology and behavior. This innovative degree is directed by Dr. Donald
Hantula, a leading organizational behavior analyst and distance educator.

Reliability: Simple email communication processes are less prone to
slowdowns, brownouts and shutdowns.

Ease of use: No web browser is needed, no password and username to recall.
Users may subscribe and unsubscribe themselves via the web or email (see
below).

Inclusion: Behavior2000 works with the simplest email technology, while
providing subscribers with a searchable archive available via the web.

Outreach: Simpler technologies are more widely distributed, both in the USA
and worldwide.

Regional Focus: Behavior2000 features regional, face-to-face events for
behavior analytic professionals in the United States, with special emphasis
on the Delaware Valley / Pennsylvania region. FEATURING: Regional

issues and human behavior, called Behave-Tech.  Featuring news articles
selected from folks around the nation, Behave-Tech broadcasts the latest n=
ews

interest to behavior analysts in basic and applied fields.

I welcome each reader to visit Behavior2000, and I welcome your participatio=
