Vice Presidential candidate (1972)
Remove quotes (hey were the last men, until some future time). Or sth like
", carrying last men to walk on moon in 20th century"

Err, I meant "Toni", of course.

Yes.

That's subjective; add it yourself if you'd like it in.

Send a diff.
[snip]
You're making comments on things that weren't in my diff. If you'd like
something added, send a diff. It's easy to do, and fun for the whole family.
If you don't care for the additions I will do them after you commit and
the dust settles a bit.
> Here I was commenting on your diff. We don't send diffs to diffs like that.
I meant send a diff to 1.39 or whatever is in HEAD.

Sounds good. I've got a few more, but will wait a few days.

i really don't feel editorial comments belong in the file. and compared
to other wars, the new content seems to seriously overemphasize iraq. i
also have a hard time believing the above, considering vietnam or a few
other incidents.
> +02/04 Philippine-American War beings, 1899
i think comments like this, correctly spelled, are more appropriate.

And that's why I started this thread.

It's not an editorial; it's factual information. Go read your history
books. If you don't want it in, tell whomever commits to remove it.
Thanks.
Yes, I recognise that some may think my comment odd, coming from
this e-mail address but I think it's appropriate to state.

But closing one's eyes doesn't help the cause either. That's what
the right wing idiots that run the US want you everyone to do. There
was no carnage listed in my entry. However, I move to strike the entry
completely. Let's just forget the whole thing ever happened.
Words like "most" and "devastating" are almost never factual.
I'd like to see the criteria used to pick that assault as "most
devastating" compared to Dresden, Coventry, Kvln, Warsaw, Hiroshima,
Nagasaki, etc. Actually... No, I don't. Please don't discuss this
anymore on this mailing list.
This is just a blatant attempt to get someones political agenda into
a file with facts and should be ignored. Even though I might agree
with parts of that political agenda, polluting facts with politics
is unprofessional.

I stopped, why don't you?

The start chopping out stuff from calendar.history that is already
subjective. I'll let you go through and do so; there's enough in there
that's subjective.
Thanks.
