Has anyone found a good place for openbsd packages? My openbsd 2.8 cd
does not have all the current apps i need like kde2.1 k-office. I dont
know how to compile apps for unix yet so i am looking for ones that
people have already compiled. The openbsd web site says that the
freebsd ports fill the gap for openbsd. does this mean that s/w
ported/compiled packaged for freebsd will install and run on openbsd?
I got interested in BSD because i need a firewall/router. I have read
that you can configure everything from Nat/Filters/routs from a tool
called IPtables. I cannot find this tool for BSD. IF this is wrong what
tools will i need to make a secure firewall/router/dmz with openbsd and
where can i find them? by the way is k-office installed with kde or do
you have to add it?

I am trying to learn The BSD OS so if anyone has a PDF. or other docs
that might help please email me.
