Tori Amos: "If Palin runs again, Ib m going to run on a Republican ticket. What I know about Middle Eastern policy could fit on a thumbnail, but I still know more than she does. You have to ask, how could a nation nearly vote in somebody who isnb t qualified for the job?"

I love Tori and I voted for Obama, but this kind of talk makes me
wonder what her opinion would be if Obama had picked her, or a woman
similarly "un"qualified from the Democratic party, for VP instead of
McCain picking her.

Sounds like a long-distance cat-fight to me. ;-)

Also, some would say that the nation *did* vote someone in who isn't
qualified for the job.

I had no idea that Tori Amos was a Republican. :)

Abe Lincoln was a Republican. T Roosevelt was a Republican and a
decent environmentalist. they weren't all greedy assholes. it's
amazing how things have evolved.

when i lived in Evanston IL in the 80s, i voted for a few Republicans
(instead of the Machine Democrat they were running against). but
after 2000, the Bush v. Gore decision and stolen election, i dunno if
i will ever vote for a Republican ever, ever again.
