I have a mail server (nero) with one network interface and I would like
send/receive the messages to internet from link 2 and comunicating to the
clients through the local segment:

internet link 1| internet link 2|
| |
+-------+ +-------+ +-------+ +------+
|client1| |router1| |router2| |nero |
+-------+ +-------+ +-------+ +------+
| | | | local segment
----------------------------------------------------

Also, the clients access the internet (www,ftp,telnet...) trough internet
link 1.

The simplest way that I though to solve this is configure two ip address in
the nero ethernet interface (ip aliasing). One ip in same network of
router2 and the other ip in same network of router1. And configure the
clients with ip addresses in router1´s network:

internet link 1| internet link 2|
| |
+-------+ +-------+ +-------+ +------+
|client1| |router1| |router2| |nero |
+-------+ +-------+ +-------+ +------+
|200.1.1.10 |200.1.1.1 |200.1.2.1
|200.1.1.100/200.1.2.100
--------------------------------------------------------

But the nero is Linux 1.2.8. This is possible? If yes, how?

Thank you for your help in advance. Please, send me your response to
