I've a RedHat 6.2 box running Sendmail and a pop3d. Users are using MS
Eudora to retrieve their mails.
But without no apparent reason, all users are unable to retrieve their
mails. They still can read their mailbox using "mail" command from a
telnet connection.
When they attempt to read their mailbox from Eudora 4.3.2, they get the
following error message :
PASS <chut! ...>
and ... POP Server (acc...@domain.com) said:
ERR invalid usercode or password please try again
With slackware distribution, this problem can be solved by removing
"/tmp/.pop/account" file.
I did not find this kind of files (to be deleted) in /tmp or
/var/spool/mail.
Help, please.
Manu.
