Hi,

I'd like to know if there already is a file recovery software like this:
a daemon runs. You've specified some directories the daemon have to make
"safe". So the daemon logs every changes of files in this directory. Binary
files it saves as tar.gz and others as diffs. So when you run a "client" for
the daemon, you can recovery all (or one or some ;) files it saved in different
states. This if useful when you removed, zerod, or overwrote your files.
I just want to know if there is any software like this? Yes? otherwise I'll
write such a software.

Thanks
