(I guess this question is for David Gerstein.)

I am trying to deduce the contents of Uncle Scrooge #2, based on the recently
published preview.

Identifying the first story is trivial, as the story code is in the first page
of the story, which is in the preview. It is H 97246, "De schat van Zapp".

The third story is easy to identify, as well, as there is only one story
featuring Scrooge and Glomgold created by the creators mentioned in the
credits page. It is H 29244, "Gelukseiland".

The problem is with the second story, "Yo!", written by Bruno Sarda, drawn by
Andrea Freccero and featuring Uncle Scrooge. There is only one such story, but
it is 24 pages long. Given that there are only 40 pages in this issue, this
story cannot fit in the 7 pages left, after taking the previous two stories
into account. If we look for stories not featuring Uncle Scrooge, there is one
21-page story that won't fit, either, and five western-themed one-pagers, from
the series "Ritorno al Rio Quack", featuring Donald. I suppose that "Yo!"
could be one or more of these one-pagers, but the American title doesn't seem
related to any of the original Italian titles.

Have I found an error in the contents page, or has my inducks-fu become rusty?

Kriton.

Answering my own question, I read a review of the issue, mentioning
that the one-pager features Scrooge. As Scrooge's picture in the
contents page is in Freccero's style, I searched for one-pagers
featuring Scrooge and drawn by Freccero, and I had no trouble locating
the picture. The story is I TL 2252-04 (Tagli energetici). According
to I.N.D.U.C.K.S. and the credits on the scan of the page, it is
written by Alberto Savini, not Bruno Sarda, so it seems I did find an
error in the contents page!

Although the Italian title means "power cuts", I guess the American
title, "Yo!" is kind of fitting, too, at least by 50%!

Doggone it - unfortunately, I think this is *my* mistake. I'd love to know how I pulled off that bloomer. (I think I may have had a different piece by Sarda in that position at first...) I'll see about running a correction in an upcoming issue.

Best, D

Well, you *could* say that you simply wanted to make things more challenging
for those who wanted to write a presentation of the comic book based solely on
the preview, without even waiting for the book to be indexed in I.N.D.U.C.K.S. :-)

You're welcome! My team and I have been waiting since the Boom license ended, and we're thrilled to be putting these new issues together now.
