We are presently utilising video conferencing to train
students in rural areas, who cannot get to the greater
Metropolitan cities to complete higher / tertiary education.
I need to collect information on the methods used to train
the lecturer to use this interactive medium in higher education.
I also need information on how the student is guided / trained
to use this specific medium of studies, as it is so different
from the "chalk and talk" way of teaching.
Can anybody help me, as video conferencing in higher education
is very new in South Africa, and no research has been done in
this area.
Kind regards
