I am conducting a survey on the use of DE for business education. Would
anybody have a comprehensive list of MBA programs offered at a distance?
Thanks in advance for any help you may provide.

Andre,

You did not specify if you wanted degrees that are delivered to Brazil or
to anywhere worldwide. For a European outlook try Hobson's "Distance &
Supported Open Learning Worldwide" directory (36.99 British pounds from
Hobson's at http://www.hobsons.co.uk). They also publish a United Kingdom
directory. For a look at the non-site based market in the United States
try our guide from the Princeton Review, "Best Distance Learning Graduate
Schools Earning Your Degree Without Leaving Home" (20 US dollars from
Random House in New York at 410-848-1900 or order online at
http://www.geteducated.com. Also, online, we publish news of new distance
learning degree options each month in our free Virtual University Gazette
under 'Newbiw News." This month, for example, there is the new online MBA
from the U of Baltimore and that is a degree that is open to any one
worldwide via the Interent. The Virtual University Gazette is free online
at http://www.geteducated.com. We also have covered several MBA and
Masters in Management that require no residency or 1-2 weeks a year in our
weekly syndiacted column, Leap Ahead with Distance Ed. We will be updating
our annual archive later this week at http://www.geteducated.com.

Cheers,

There is a comprehensive list of all MBA programs being offered at a
distance under the DISTANCE LEARNING tab at http://www.petersons.com. Good
luck...there are about 40 of them in the list right now--probably (based on
my experience and knowledge of others)...there are another 20 who didn't
fill out the survey form when it came to their school from Petersons...so
they're not in the book.
