RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN COMMUNICATIONS,
INCLUDING COMMUNICATION NETWORKS, AT THE NAVAL RESEARCH LABORATORY

We are looking for highly motivated electrical engineering candidates
at all educational levels to engage in challenging research and development
programs. This is an excellent opportunity to work with outstanding
individuals on basic research problems as well as development programs of
great importance to the national interest. NRL, one of the leading
laboratories in the country, offers:

Current research areas at NRL include all aspects of communications, with
emphasis on the design, analysis, and simulation of communication
networks. Some particular research topics include:

- Network simulation modelling
- Artificial Intelligence networking techniques
- Spread spectrum techniques
- Robust waveforms for antijam communication
- Error control coding
- Synchronization
