one o the advantages to being a permanent unemployed
is that ever day is Anarc Day. i am a vet, but do not celebrate
killers--past, present, or future. sorry, but if that offends,
tough. i have always celebrated 11/11 as marking the Armistice:
the End o the War to End All Wars. too bad it didnt take, neh?
anyways, thanks for the food for thought, Chuck. i'll
put 'er on my calendar.
old goat.
try not to try too hard,
it's a lovely ride.

Please take time out of your regular routine this Wednesday to celebrate
International Anarchy Day 1998. On November 11 in 1887, the four Haymarket
martyrs were executed by the state of Illinois for their anarchist beliefs.
A comrade convicted with them missed the gallows by taking his own life
with dynamite. We ask everybody to honor their memory by celebrating and
promoting anarchy on this day every year. We also want to send a message to
the capitalists that we won't stand for their appropriation of our holidays
with stupid things like Veterans Day.
You can observe/celebrate International Anarchy Day in any way you see fit.
We urge you to call in sick to work, or, if you have to work, slack all
day. You can also get together with your fellow anarchists on this day and
dance, smoke, play soccer, drink, feast, fast, or have sex. Try and get
some non-anarchists involved! We also recommend doing volunteer work on
this day or doing demonstrations or street theater or rioting. The choice
is up to you, because that's what anarchy is all about.
Dream the impossible!
Make it happen!
