I think config file preg match changed to accept data from new line.

tables=

table1

table2

table3

is better than

Tables=table1,table2,table3

if there are 40 table array. easy to edit if it is one below one for config file.  So every property to selected by 

properties ini file config file regex

Not reason enough to justify the change in behavior. Easy - in this case - is subjective.
