Fat Free in Ubuntu

Hi, 

    I tried fatfree in MAMP and XAMPP it's working fine. When I want to run it in ubuntu. For router page not found error. I placed the code in /var/www/fatfree. 

And .htaccess in /fatfree edited to 

RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /fatfree
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-l
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d

RewriteRule .* index.php [L,QSA]

Still it's not working out. Help me out on this.

the route is not working. localhost/fatfree is working fine. If I want to access the next route localhost/fatfree/userref it's not working.

That's strange. Have you tried adding a trailing slash to RewriteBase? => RewriteBase /fatfree/
Should work without it but we never know..

A few hints to move forward:

- enable RewriteLog and see what's written there

- if mod_rewrite is working and the 404 is generated by F3, print_r($_SERVER) from index.php (especially check $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'])
