Help us spread the word about this opportunity to join the Public Health Association of BC (PHABC) as a F2SBC Fraser Regional Hub Community Animator. This role involves supporting Farm to School BC (F2SBC) programs, promoting food literacy, and fostering school-community connections in the Fraser Health Region.

Key Details:

• Role: F2SBC Community Animator, 0.5 FTE (20 hours/week)
• Start Date: Late August 2024
• Salary: $28.61/hour plus 6% vacation pay
• Location: Fraser Health Region (e.g., Surrey, Burnaby, Abbotsford, Chilliwack)

Qualifications:

• Background in Health Science, Education, Community Development, Nutrition, Agriculture, Public Health, or related fields
• Preferred 2+ years of experience in health promotion and community engagement
• Strong understanding of local and sustainable food systems
• Ability to network with key stakeholders within the regional food system
