Hello all!

Fresh Roots is looking for our next crew of fabulous young adults to grow our farms, lead our youth, and create camp magic! We have positions on our Farm, Youth Empowerment, and Experiential Learning teams for the 2024 season. Many seasonal positions are entry level, with some more advanced positions available, and range from ten weeks to six months in length. We're also looking for a permanent Experiential Learning Program lead, which is perfect for a recent post-secondary graduate!

All positions are funded in part through Canada Summer Jobs, so applicants must be under 30 and a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have refugee status.

Full job postings are available at freshroots.ca/jobs. Please share with your networks and anyone who would be interested!

Thanks, and best wishes for 2024,

Kat

We have the privilege and honour to work on this land that is not ours. This is the ancestral and unceded homelands of the sc̓əwaθən məsteyəxʷ (Tsawwassen), kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem), q̓íc̓əy̓ (Katzie), stó:lō (Sto:lo), xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh), qiqéyt (Qayqayt), and sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) Coast Salish peoples. As settlers, as farmers, and as educators, we acknowledge the harm that farming and schooling have done to Indigenous Peoples and the land across this region. We work towards ongoing reconciliation as listeners, food sharers, and land stewards.
