Hello F2SBC Vancouver Region Network,

I have a survey opportunity to share - if you or someone you know has a leadership role with a food access program, the PHABC team would love to hear from you!

An exciting partnership is underway to investigate and improve food access! Food Banks BC (FBBC) has partnered with Public Health Association of BC (PHABC) to conduct a provincial-wide examination of local context-specific strengths, challenges, and interventions for improving food access. This investigation will include identifying leverage points for food systems transformation.

Members of the PHABC team are reaching out to managers, executive directors, and other leadership members of food banks, non-profits, charity organizations, Indigenous organizations or Nations, and social enterprises that run food access programs in Island Health, Interior Health, Fraser Health, Vancouver Coastal Health Authorities. The team is asking leadership members to participate in the Community Food Systems Development online survey from March 20-April 7. Survey participants will receive a $75 stipend.

To participate in the survey, please contact Julia Gellman, admin...@phabc.org. To learn more about this project, please check out the Community Food Systems Development webpage.
