Hello Farm to School Vancouver Area Network:

I hope you are enjoying your summer, and staying cool and hydrated in this warm weather.

While I am sad that our Community Animator, Meryn Corkery, will be leaving us in about a month, I am grateful for all that she did as the Farm to School Animator for Vancouver Region over the past three years. To show appreciation, I invite you to sign this Kudoboard for Meryn:

Also, I thought it would be fun to have a party at the end of August. 

Two dates/times available:

1) Tuesday August 29th, 12:00-1:00, in Vancouver, around 520 W. 6th Avenue; or

2) Wednesday August 30th, any time between 11:00 and 3:00, in West Vancouver near the West Vancouver Community Centre, 2121 Marine Drive.

If you'd like to join in an informal lunch to honour Meryn, then please email me at heleny...@gmail.com or helen...@vch.ca with your preferred date and time--Aug 29 or 30th. I plan to bring sandwiches, fruit, and drinks. Others are welcome to bring a dessert or snack, or just bring yourselves. It will be nice to get together in person!
