F2SBC 2022 Grants
NOW OPEN! We are excited to announce that our 2022 grants are now open. Farm to School BC offers two types of grants: Start-Up Grants of up to $3,000 and Scale-Up Grants of up to $1,000. We are also offering a grant writing workshop on Thursday, October 20 to help you with your application.   A total of 30 grants will be distributed this year. While all schools are encouraged to apply, priority will be given to rural, remote and First Nations schools. We hope to bring more farm to school initiatives into these communities this year so please apply, or recommend these grants to schools in your area.   The deadline to apply is November 13, 2022 at 11:59pm.

GROWING SCHOOL FARMS PRO-D DAY Friday October 21st, 9:00 - 3:30 pm Reynolds Secondary, Victoria (In person) Gather with like-minded school farm educators, coordinators, parents, school district staff, and community partners to share knowledge, experience, and promising practices related to school farms. More details and registration: growingschoolfarms.eventbrite.ca   WHOLE KIDS BEE GRANTS This grant program allows schools and non-profit organizations to receive support for educational beehives and programming so students can observe bees and learn about the vital role these pollinators play in our food system.
