REGISTER NOW!  I am excited to announce that Farm to School BC Surrey Region is hosting its first Learning Circle of 2023. This event is open to all schools, educators and administrators in the Surrey region. Join us to learn about how Farm to School BC can support your farm to school projects and connect with other educators and community members.    The Learning Circle will be held on Wednesday, January 25th from 3:30-4:45pm at M.B Sanford Elementary. School Garden Mentorship Series  JANUARY TO OCTOBER 2023 ( ONLINE) Farm to School BC is offering a free mentorship program for K-12 educators in BC who are in the initial stages of creating a school garden or are revitalizing an existing school garden. This mentorship program will provide valuable skills for school-based coordination that supports both the development of a robust school garden community & tips for garden maintenance. This program includes a series of monthly after-school online workshops, facilitated discussion groups, and the opportunity to join a supportive cohort of school garden educators from across the province. The first workshop will be on Tuesday, January 24th from 3:30-4:30. Find out more here!

FARM FOLK CITY FOLK SEED TRIAL Looking for school gardens!! Join the 2023 Citizen Seed Trial and help us increase seed security! This year we will be assessing the qualities of varieties such as radishes, salad turnips and snap peas.
