Save the date! Farm To School BC in partnership with SPARC BC is excited to share news that we will be hosting a professional development day for teachers and community partners interested, working towards, and refining their school farms.

School farms are a unique and exciting outdoor learning space for students and teachers to:

• Develop life-long food growing skills
• Create occupational training initiatives
• Build leadership, management, and community engagement opportunities
• Provide safe, nurturing learning spaces
• Create a stream of healthy, sustainable fruits and vegetables for your school and community

This workshop will be a full day on Friday, October 21^st at Reynolds Secondary School in Victoria, BC. Sessions will include support for curriculum alignment, sharing promising practices, and much more!
