Get ready to dig into the details of the "Planting the Seed" F2SBC23 Conference taking place from May 18th to 19th on the 2nd floor of the UBC Nest. We're excited to reveal the full program agenda, packed with inspiring presentations, workshops, and networking opportunities. It's time to plan your days and choose your favourite sessions to make the most of this Farm to School BC event.

Field Trips (Conference registration not required)
Now open to the public! If you can’t make the conference but you would like to engage with local food organizations we’re hosting 3 hands on field trips on May 17th. Hop on a bus and spend the day with us learning more about Native Plants and Indigenous Pedagogies, School Farms, or School Gardens and Urban Food.

Our goal is to celebrate the work of local food organizations and showcase outstanding initiatives across Greater Vancouver and Squamish areas. Learn more.

Social Event (Now included in Conference Registration)

We are now opening up the social event to ALL conference attendees (included in registration). Stay back after the closing remarks on Day One and join us for the post-conference networking and social event on May 18th from 4 to 6 pm in the Great Hall. Relax and debrief with other conference attendees with appetizers and refreshments. Learn more.

Volunteers (University students encouraged to apply)

We are in search of volunteers who can assist us in making this conference a success. Special call-out to university undergrad and masters students involved in food systems. Exchange a total of eight hours of work spread over the two days for complimentary registration to the conference. Learn more.
