Welcome back to a brand new school year everyone!

We are delighted to be back and already have some exciting opportunities coming up next week!

1. Terrace Seed Cleaning Workshop 

If you are in the Terrace area, please join us for community seed cleaning, demos and info sharing from local seed savers! 

Wednesday, September 21st - 4:00 pm- 5:30 pm
Ksan Place 101-2812 Hall Street, Tsimshian Territory, Terrace

We'll have tools and equipment to clean seeds as well as some seed crops for you to try cleaning. You're also welcome to bring your own seeds to clean and save! We will also be gratefully accepting seed donations for the Northwest Seed Library.

2. Farm to School BC School Garden Mentorship Program 
Are you a K-12 educator in BC in the initial stages of creating a school garden or are revitalizing an existing school garden? Join us for our School Garden Mentorship Workshop on harvesting and seed saving. Sign up here! In this workshop we will be covering: 

• Harvesting tips 
• Seed saving with students
• Hosting a harvest party
• Harvest recipes
• Celebrating and sharing your success
