Happy November everyone!

We are delighted to share with you two upcoming opportunities! Please find details below and posters for each event attached.
Please feel free to share both broadly in your networks.

1. School District 82 Pro-D Day: Building Curriculum Connections with School Food and Outdoor Learning
Friday, November 25th from 9:30am - 11:30am
Nechako Elementary School, Haisla Territory, Kitimat BC

2. Northern Indigenous Food Ways: Learning Circle Series for K-12 Educators
Farm to School BC's northern regional hubs are hosting a virtual learning circle series from Dec 7th, 2022 to March 8th, 2023 titled "Northern Indigenous Food Ways".

About the series:
This series is presented to provide an opportunity for educators within the K-12 education system in gaining or advancing skills and knowledge to apply Indigenous food ways and teachings within their food literacy curriculums and projects.
Each of the four sessions will be lead by an Indigenous Knowledge Holder, who will share about specific topics as related to traditional food ways, past, present and future.
We welcome all who want to learn, connect and witness Indigenous food ways, specifically in the Northern context.

About the First Session:
We are thrilled to have Gitxsan Culture teacher, Virginia Morgan hosting our first session on December 7th from 3:15pm-4:30pm.

As always, please feel free to reach out to
margo...@farmtoschoolbc.ca if you have any questions!
