Farm To School BC Grants $1000 - $3000

Details on Application:

  • Open to any school in BC
  • Start Up Grants – up to $3000 available (never received F2SBC funds)
  • Scale Up Grants – up to $1000 available (previous recipient of F2SBC funds)
  • Funding to support food literacy initiatives in schools (ie. School gardens, meal program equipment, food sustainability, food education resources)
  • Applications open Oct. 4 – Nov. 14th

Food Infrastructure Grant $5000 – $20,000

Details on Applications:

  • United Way BC in partnership with Ministry of Health
  • Rural, remote, and Indigenous communities may apply
  • Funding streams: development and implementation, or improvement of food infrastructure to support year-round, long-term procurement, storage and distribution of fresh, nutritious, traditional and other food and enhance community well-being.
  • Applications accepted starting Oct. 4 – Dec. 15 via online form, phone or video interviews. UWBC staff will be available to assist.
  • Funding available to any community food-based organization operating food access programming/services located in any rural, remote and/or Indigenous community of British Columbia OR; BC First Nations Band or Tribal Council.
