Central Island Hub Pollinator Award 2022

F2SBC Pollinator Award recognizes K-12 schools and classrooms across Central Vancouver Island including public schools in SD68, SD69, SD70, SD71, First Nations schools and independent schools from Ladysmith - Tofino that demonstrate outstanding leadership in farm to school initiatives.

 

Nominate a School

  • Growing and harvesting food
  • Sourcing local food
  • Teaching food literacy and incorporating it into the BC curriculum in creative and meaningful ways
  • Integrating community food knowledge into the school 
  • Fostering partnerships with community food stakeholders
  • And more! 

Who can nominate a school/class?

School community members (PAC members, students, educators, school staff) or individuals/organizations supporting school communities can submit a nomination; it takes only 10min!

 

Nominations close on April 17, 2022

 

The winning school will be selected by the Central Island Advisory Committee and notified in early May.
