Webinar Opportunity:  Teach Food First Toolkit for Educators & Updates to the BC’s PHE Nutrition Elaborations

Nov. 30th at 3:30- 4:15pm

Are you a K-8 teacher interested in teaching about food and nutrition? The Province of British Columbia invites teachers to join this 45 minute webinar to learn about a new toolkit that supports BC K-8 educators with strategies, resources, and lesson plans for exploring Canada's food guide in the classroom. This toolkit was developed in partnership with BC dietitians, Indigenous Knowledge Keepers and tested by BC teachers. The session will discuss the new Physical and Health Education nutrition curriculum elaborations and share examples of learning opportunities from the toolkit that connect to the BC curriculum and First Peoples' Principles of Learning. To learn more or to register for the webinar, email: emilia.mo...@gov.bc.ca
