Just FYI, I contacted some restaurants, Burma Superstar, Camino (restaurant in Oakland started by an old chef from Chez Panisse), and Habanas. I will hope to hear back from them by Tuesday noon about whether they will give a gift certificate. I called Chez Panisse and our cause did not fit their strict guidelines (food education or AIDS; and you have to mail a letter to a woman named Jennifer Sherman with a self-addressed stamp, just in case you ever need this info).
