Hello. I play GP1 using DOSBox, and it works normally. I downloaded ArgEditor to update driver names, car colors, and helmets, and I saved the result in a copy of the GP.exe file, which had already been decompressed using UNP v4.11. ArgEditor seems to save the new file with the modifications, but when I open it in DOSBox, the original GP1 data still appears. What could I be doing wrong?

Clarifying the issue: I make the changes in the editor and save them to the uncompressed .EXE file. When I import the data from that same file to check if everything is correct, I see that the car and pit crew colors, as well as the helmets, were saved properly. But the driver and team names just won’t save at all. Is there something I might be doing wrong?

Fabio,

please, try looking for the names_file.nam (you can have other file names for your drivers names) at the moment that you export your sets via ArgEditor.

I wasn't aware of this file. It worked. Thank you!

Just out of curiosity, is there any reason why names are not exported to gp.exe file as well? Would it make the game not working properly? Or is it just for practical reasons to keep original names as they are?
