Retroarch/dosbox:pure won't start

Hi all,

I've been using F1GP since a lot of years now in different versions of DOSBox.

Lately, I've started to use Retroarch as frontend to emulate old console games and there even is a core for dos called dosbox-pure. 

I could quickly setup various games but can't get F1GP to work. At the start of the game, where you have to "type anything you want" as verification code, the game rejects it no matter what. After 3 or 4 tries, the game automatically exits.

I can use the exact same executable on dosbox-x and works fine. For sure it's something related to the dosbox-pure but I thought I'd ask here first since maybe some of you are playing F1GP with this retroarch core.

Just experimented on Retroarch for you, but on my mobile phone, through dosbox pure. If I keep pressing the onscreen start button, where it wants a verification code., the game starts?
