Hello my friends! There is some way to turn the AI pilots less suicidal?

I play in Ace difficulty, the laptimes and driving is good at most. But in 15% long races, there are at maximum only half of the grid left in the last lap. They bump in your rear insanely at some points, and just cant deal with themselves without crashing.

So, it exists some mod to solve that?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

On some tracks the AI cars are more likely to crash, especially into the first corner or near the pit entry.
In general, this cannot be solved, but there are a couple of things you can do.

The first thing is to adjust the damage settings.
You can do this using ArgEditor and adjust the Accident Damage Settings. This applies to both the AI or your car.
The higher the value for Damage settings, the cars can sustain heavier hits without wing damage. The higher the Retire settings, the cars can sustain heavier crashes without retiring.

As for the aggressiveness, you can change how late the AI cars break.
You can do this using GPCSETUP and GPCWINSET, and change the aggression setting. The higher the aggression, the later the AI cars will brake. But if the setting is too high, they will spin. For higher settings it's best to also increase the AI grip level.

You can do the same thing using this tutorial:

Hope this helps...

Cheers
