So sorry to come forward all arrogant and stuff, considering that my tune would most likely sound completely different at the end of this season, but... I couldn’t help but noticing the lack of interaction and response in this group after the first race of 2012. Fair enough.... I would more than likely have been the quiet one if it wasn’t for McLaren coming through for me... but fortunately they have... and I can’t make myself shut up... so stop me now!

 

I must be honest... work kept me away from watching the race, and I nearly killed someone in the process, so with that said, I have no flippen clue what happened, and why Button ended up where he ended up, other than where they qualified, but I certainly hope that this is turn around for McLaren. Early season, understandably... and they’ll most likely take a dip as soon as the rest of the teams comes to the party, which inevitably only happens near mid-season, but cheese and rise... I nearly wet myself when I looked at the results... so.... aside from this:

I was wondering if anyone had some thoughts to share on what actually went down in that race? Where and how did Hamilton lose his pole position, and how the hell did that monster of a driver from Ranault squeeze himself in there... actually... I think I know how... he’s proven to be better than Schumi and Hakkinen added together!

 

Craig.... how is it that you didn’t join the Fantasy league? Your picks were obviously better than most, cause you’re first on SuperBru. The two sites works very differently rules wise. I find it odd that I can’t see anyone else’s predictions on SuperBru, and I can on Fantasy league... must say I prefer the Fantasy League between the two, for that reason, unless I just don’t have the patience to keep looking, but I did scratch around

I enjoyed the race on Sunday. Either I was really starved for F1 (which I was) or it was more exciting than last year’s races.

 

Well done to Jenson Button and bad luck for Grosjean who qualified in third and went out on the second lap. I would have liked to see what he was capable of in the front of the pack. Kimi had a horrible qualy but a good race, welcome back Iceman. Massa needs to be bought out of his contract NOW!!!!!! You don’t drive a first class car and perform like a 7 year old with a box cart.

 

All and all a fair few guys performed well that perhaps wasn’t expected and others who had all the expectations on their shoulders bombed out.

 

Looking forward to the rest of the season after the first race. Bring it on guys!

Thanks for reminding me to join the Fantasy League :) I'd registered on the site and set up my team, but forgot to add myself to the league. I didn't do as well as you. 

I prefer SuperBru though. I have quite a few of their games going on at the moment (cricket & rugby).

Also missed the first race, but it looked like a humdinger. Can't wait for Malaysia this Saturday.
