slam toolbox usage with f1tenth gym ros simulator

Hi,

On https://f1tenth.org/course.html link there is a ppt on how to run the slam toolbox for generating a map on a real car. Is there a way to run it on the f1tenth gym ros bridge simulator and see on rviz how the map is generated? 
Meaning, can I give the simulator some map (like Levine floor map) and let the slam toolbox detect it and show the detection on rviz?
