attaching audio on Whatsapp Web

Dear all,
I am using F123 Access Mozilla Firefox extension with Whatsapp Web.
I opened a chat screen, any group or contact, locate and activate the
Attach button.
Below it, two more buttons appear:
Attach Image or Video
Take a Picture and Attach It

Audio isn't mentioned out here. Anyways, I chose the first button, and
after navigating the directory path of Music, the folder was shown to
be empty, or the folder perhaps just didn't open.
All in all, I am struggling to attach audios through Whatsapp Web.
I would appreciate any assistance.

Dear all,
I haven't tested this trick yet, but my research revealed it on two places.
Whatsappp Web actually does not allow sending of audio files, only
images and videos.
Thus, it is advised to change the file extension to MP4, and then send
the files through Whatsapp Web.
I will be trying out this solution, and am quite certain that this should work.

Whatsapp web doesn't allow you to send audio files directly from the computer. However, you can try the following. Change the extention of your audio file from .mp3 to .mp4, and then attach it using the same method. Don't worry, it will received as an audio at the recipient end..
