Role Overview
The selected consultant will support Medicaid modernization initiatives and legacy SAVERR value removal activities within TIERS outbound interfaces for internal and external trading partners. The consultant will collaborate closely with Project Managers, stakeholders, and oversight teams for interface mapping and business process analysis.
Required Experience
✅ 12–14+ years of overall IT experience
✅ 10+ years with Texas Medicaid programs
✅ 7+ years with MMIS (Medicaid Management Information Systems)
✅ Strong Business Analyst experience in state/government healthcare environments
✅ Experience creating interface mapping & process documentation
✅ Knowledge of Software Development lifecycle
✅ Experience with SharePoint
✅ Experience handling implementation & transition of complex IT projects
✅ Strong communication, decision-making & stakeholder management skills
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Create interface mapping documents with IT Project Managers
🔹 Facilitate discussions with stakeholders and project teams
🔹 Analyze business processes and modernization requirements
🔹 Support Medicaid/CHIP IT contract oversight initiatives
