"Our Nige" is reported as saying this years championship is the best
so far in the 62 year history of F1 and, with 6 different winners is
as many races with Lewis yet to win one (could be his weekend coming
up) he's hard pressed to tip an eventual winner. I know it's early
doors right now, but seeing as how Fernando has dragged an early dog
of a Ferrari to the top of the DWC and bearing in mind the team will
develop the car further, isn't it odds on he will lift a 3rd crown? No
doubt McLaren, as ever, will continue improving their car and if JB
can find that, so far, elusive balance he could start racking up the
points (although I wonder, given the closeness of the top cars,
whether he's already too far behind).
There's a long way to go I know and it'd be foolish to believe the
likes of Lewis, Kimi, Nico and, who knows Schumacher, will not start
bagging some wins, but I've just got a feeling in my water right now,
that Alonso will be the victor.
Whether Red Bull will still be in the hunt remains to be seen, now
that their "floor holes" have been deemed illegal.
Anyone brave enough to speculate? How's about a bag of Wethers
Originals to the winning prediction? {:0))

I think any of the top six could jump ahead, one significant upgrade to pull out that extra tenth. Fred is looking very consistent and is doing what he needs to just get the same number of points each race. McLaren need to get the car sorted within a race or two or wave goodbye. My gut feeling is Fred or Seb.
