There once was a time when Lewis Hamilton would leap out of his car in parc ferme and rush to his team, bouncing into their outstretched arms as they all congratulated themselves on a fabulous win. Not today it seems. It looked to me as if he had to be reminded to do so, such was his lacklustre body language despite a flawless lights to flag drive. Anyone would think he was fed up with being a McLaren driver, even if he did ( with the world listening) thank them all for giving him such a great car. The world watches you too Lewis and we aren't monkeys, as you so like to refer to others below you.
Great drive by Perez - as Brundle pointed out, to overtake a Ferrari driving Alonso at Monza certainly ensures you get maximum attention! Feel a little sorry for Massa, he's not done so bad a job this weekend.
Jensons run at the championship must be all but over now, thanks to the car letting him down. The old arguments re him playing rear gunner soon are sure to surface once more.
I don't know what to make of Vettels move on Alonso - did he deliberately run him off the road or was Fernie being a bit previous in trying to outrun him? I can't be sure. Nevertheless, it made no difference - Sebs car gave up the ghost and lost him 2nd place in the DWC. Pretty rubbish weekend for Red Bull all round.
Equally Paul Di Resta whose 4th grid position promised so much more. Singapore beckons, another day, another chance.
