multiple files

I'm not useless with a computer but this problem has me confused by
its simplicity.

I right-click a photo folder that I've created under the root dir and
choose Upload Files, the upload window loads, I click browse which
launches a new file-open window, but I cannot select more than one
file. I cannot drag-select multiple files, use shift or use ctrl.

I've watched the handy feature overview video on the front page many
times which clearly uses shift, but I do notice that the upload window
differs from mine. In the video, there is a "Browse Files" button,
but mine shows up as a directory address field and a "Browse" button.

Another difference is in the title bar of the file-open window. In
the video, it says "select files to upload..." but mine says "Choose
File."

Anyway, all I'm looking to do is upload several images at once. Any
help the f-it gurus can offer up?

Thanks very much!
John

I'm using IE7 under WinXP SP3. I just tried Firefox 3.0.3 and it
brought up the upload window as seen in the tutorial video (ie no dir
address field, just a browse files button) but then hung up after I
hit the browse button. Awesome.

Ok,  Unfortunately I'm in Germany and won't be able to take a look at it for sometime.  Hopefully Brian will be able to fix it.

No problem. Thanks for the support, Justin. I look forward to using
this killer tool, but enjoy Germany!

Thanks!

Hi John,

Quick update for you.  After looking into this today, there was a problem with the multiple file uploader we use with Flash 10, which was released to all browsers in the past few months.  The uploader has a new version, which I"m trying to integrate and roll out shortly.

Hi Brian,

Just checking back in with you re: the new uploader version. I just
tried again and all is the same. Any news my friend?

Thanks,
John
