hello all,

here's my report from sentimental journey - the piper cub factory flyin in pennsylvania. if you couldn't come then it was ok. very bad weather, a real shame because the lockhaven people work so hard to bring it together. i drove with the kids in a minivan and tented in the rain but kids always have fun, right?! aeronca had representation by a (pink) champ. yes, no typo! also, i ran into aeronca royalty! Bill Pancake was there with his wife(very cool lady) and we chatted for a while. wow, it was a goldmine talking to the man! he knows these birds! well, thats all, next report, next summer.

A cream and Maroon Chief also stopped by and there may have been another champ. Had to drive in myself but represented Aeronca proudly on Thursday wearing my fAA golf shirt.
