Hello everybody -hope you all have had many enjoyable flying experiences this summer.

No landing, parking, takeoff or other charge to attend.  Noon picnic luncheon of corn, Beefalo burger, garden produce, etc.  $25. pp.

The fields for parking are mowed and the hay is baled.  The runway is mowed and we are putting out signs.

The sweet corn is just about ripe and should be plentiful on the 13th.  To be sure we are keeping at least 2 of our Golden Retrievers locked in the garden at night to keep out the raccoons in addition to the 3 strands of electric fence. (fyi. 2 years ago we intended to harvest our own sweet corn for the freezer 2 days after that flyin, but found a small army of raccoons had consumed or ruined nearly all of that half acre of fresh corn in one night!!  -in spite of electric fence.  Farming is precarious, nature rules.)

Our U Pic, any time, self pay,  market garden and orchard are producing well this year due to lots of work, and our building ponds years ago.  If you fly in this weekend Sept 5-7, you can pick some very delicious plumbs, as well as apples etc., and there are still 2 Golden Retriever puppies left to find loving homes from the 2 litters  of 6 each.

I'm once again hoping to see more innovative and interesting aircraft attend, and hoping also that aircraft from Ontario and the Maritimes join the fun too.  Pass the invite to your flying friends. We have lots of space in a beautiful setting.  Some have volunteered to direct aircraft traffic -including possibly a retired ATC person, and possibly a booth with new ATC and SAR information.

Of course everyone attends at their own risk.  Come have fun!

There are hay bales for kids to play on away from the good grass runway 01/19 with good approaches, fields, trout ponds, & woods to explore.  The hanger tower has great 360 degree views.  AC camping by donation -black mail box on hanger door.  There is also space or more hangers and tiedown sites $60 per month.
