As I need a mental break from
Working On The left wheelpant and next week I’m finally getting the cowlings and those will keep me busy for a while….and i can’t stand still……using 3-107 i made a mockup of the support for the wind driven generator which if it’s even for look, it will be a nice addition that I have never see in other airplane.
Just trying to keep the list alive!

Don't say that Richard.  Unless you think Raphael is slower than I am.  That should give you another 20 years at least  !

We have an original wind driven generator. Came off our 1946 Champ, took it off because is had a slight vibration and did not want that to effect the air frame. We were going to work on it but it has been several years that it has been sitting on the shelf.

If you end up buying one of these, check the prop for balance before installing it.

Thats often the issue with vibration.

I got one years ago not sure from where. It’s to attach between the gear legs I’m guessing champ or 11 AC.  The generator part I did track it down to come off an off board engine!

I’ll have to check the brand. Been a while since I took it off.
