Must have been built in the summer of ’41. Mine, 31986, was built in February. Unfortunate. Wonder if he’ll rebuild, part it out, or some insurance company will try to sell it complete.

Claude had just bought the plane this spring and flew it to Sun n Fun.. He camped out next to Tom Rousch and I.  He had a lot of questions about the plane. I looked it over for him . the chief had an electrical system installed with nav lites and wiring terminating in the cowling and at a battery box with no battery installed.. I looked at the engine and saw and told him it was a A 65-9 engine with the starter port blanked off on the assy case, and that it could have a starter installed. He was excited about looking into that.
