Just a note to reserve your date for the 16th Annual CTQ2 fly-in.
It will be Saturday Sept 12, always the 2nd Saturday in Sept. No
insurance. All must agree to own risks if choosing to come. We have
been lucky with good weather in the past.
Good grass 2,600' runway 01/19 on ridge line with good approaches from
both ends. Private, Great views from hanger tower room.
Meal at noon $30. per person: Beefalo burger, and all our sweet corn
and market garden stuff you can eat etc.
We have available for sale here -fly in or drive in:
-Self serve U-Pic garden and orchard. Fly-in, drive-in any time
in season, have a picnic in this scenic spot. No charge, but we take
donations on black mail box o hanger door. Order some of our frozen
Beefalo burgers to take home. Our hardy Beefalo only eat grass and
hay and left over garden and orchard produce. All must operate at their
own risk as usual.
-our own variety of apple tree SWEET CRIMSON grafted on dwarfing
root stock. Disease resistant, sweet, red, very long lasting, firm but
not too crunchy. $70.
-our own sweet corn seed you can plant, grow and eat, and save some
of it's seed when dried to plant again and get the same sweet variety
without having to buy more seed in the future.
-trout pond for fishing.
-trails to explore.
-space for kids to play. under parent's supervision.
-under the wing camping.
Inquire about hanger and tie down space available for rent here at CTQ2.
Also, son John has a rustic cabin for rent located on a nice private
pond here -fly-in or drive in. Contact John Weller <ret...@gmail.com>
Also my neighbors house across Stage Road from us is for sale. It has a
double lot, and it would be handy for any aircraft enthusiast who might
want to keep their plane at CTQ2 and be within walking distance of their
home. Emilie Dupont is their broker
