They don't have 0.010 but they have 0.009. Great selection of stuff and they are about 45 minutes drive from my house!!!

I suggest you get approval from you IA before using material that is more than 10% thinner.   Also, it must be 3/4SH. 

 

Notice that 0.16 in 1/2 SH is also allowed.  This snip from drawing 5-11.

 

 

In today’s numbering that would be

·         0.016” 5052-H34

·         0.010” 5052-H36

Thanks Todd, 2024 0.16 I find it to stiff and even after forming the nose radius still has a lot of spring on it for such a weak structure as is an aileron like this one. Yes I need to check in the possibility of the substitution, however this place seems like a good source but I need to call them to see if they can get me the 0.010 (if they even make it now) or a bit thicker stuff in 50054
