I have a friend who's Chief has a Lunkenheimer fuel primer; fuel is leaking from shaft every time he primes it.. Does anybody know the PN's for the 2 o - rings inside??   Please advise
Thanks, keep the emails coming!!

Ray, if you know the I.D. (Shaft diameter) O.D (Cylinder diameter) and
the cross section of the O ring you can pick it up from a Parker catalog.
If you give me those sizes I can give you the Parker part number, then
you can get them at any reputable bearing house. Material should be
Nitrile, or better still Viton, but Viton is expensive.

I think the original o-rings had a D shaped cross section and are now made of unobtainium.

Might look at this site… http://www.supercub.org/forum/showthread.php?32161-Lunkenheimer-primer-re-build

They claim there aren’t any o-rings but simple faucet type string packing.

I think the Essex primer had packing.  There were two types of Lunkenheimer primers and the long one that I have in my hand at the moment has a O-ring groove in the piston. I have a short one, but it is in the JYD.  I'll take a look this morning.
