When I rebuilt the wings on my airplane in 1998, I was unaware of Service Letter #3 regarding the diagonal support for the wing tip bow to prevent it bending in and impinging the aileron. Apparently, neither was my mechanic, or the mechanic who did the rebuild of the airplane in 1978, since the SL was issued 10/1/1955, and reissued in 1960 and 1969.

This SL calls for installing part 2-10001 L/R (two tubes with flattened ends, about 14 inches long - see attached picture from Paul Agaliotis' Champ.)

I'm needing to assemble the parts to effect this brace. I have submitted a request for price and availability of the part from American Champion. Are there any other sources?

Yes, not too hard to fabricate, but I don't have the prints/drawings for it.
American Champion got back to me and said they didn't have that part available and said to check with Univair.
Univair said they didn't have the part or the prints, to check with American Champion.
Wagaero redirected to Aircraft Spruce . Aircraft Spruce doesn't have it in their catalog.

Somebody have the part laying around so that it can be measured and duplicated?
Actually, it looks like it can be found at the Aeronca Museum archive: https://www.aeroncamuseum.org/DocumentDetails.asp?ID=210001
I purchased the PDF copy.
