thanks for the great app, howevr in order for me to be really using this, it should avoid the following bugs, that result in rather complicating my browsing.

its really great idea and I love the options page a lot. However there is still some work to do for perfection.

1. sometimes it places the ez button to close to a link diasabling clicking on it, w{o clicking on the link at the same time
2. it confuses split screen and pop up on some pages and shows split where it should show just pop up (google home page)
3. instead of offering pop up on some pages (like codeacademy) it rdirects me to the link (eg. through a button) instead of showing me just a pop up
4. I did not see anywhere a description of the difference of orange and blue ez buttons although I suspect it has to do with the type of preview (in that case I dont understand why it selects this while I only selected one special case for split screen and this is wikipedia.

when it started to putting me through a link whenI just clicked on the ez link, and also when I was offered a split screen on google home page instead of just a pop up (or nothing), I decides to park this extension for now and wait till the bugs are removed.

Orange icon indicates links to external pages, while blue icon is for links within the same domain as the current page.

Many sites do not allow themselves to run within IFRAMES (which this extension uses for previews) for security/ad revenue reasons. These sites will take you directly to the site instead or appearing within the preview popup.

In the options page you can setup x and y offsets for the icon placement.

Thanks for explanantions, problems partially solved.

It would be nice if you could blacklist the pages you know where the iframes are not allowed.

Have a good weekend,

You can blacklist sites by adding them to the Open in new tab  list in the options page. Also some sites, you can trick into the popup by opening them in the ViewText, Preview in ViewText.org item in the options page. The viewtext option works for sites like the NYTimes.com.
