Links in SVG files/URLs?

I love this extension. However, it does not seem to support links in an .svg file/url. If this is the case, could you add this feature? I promise I will donate a few dollars :-)

Do you any example svg urls with links that I can check out?

Open the attached file in your browser (I use Chrome but Firefox also supports this.  Not sure about IE or others.) and click on either of the ovals.  I will see if I can find examples on the web.  I use this feature extensively on a private intranet.

I don't think I can inject the javascript and html objects directly into a svg file via chrome extension. If the svg was inline inside an html file, I might be able to do it...
