I am trying to edit some ezp files from the widgets demo and I don't
know what to use to edit/view the .ezp 16 bit image files (for the
buttons). How were these created in the first place?

They were created with the tool from the ezLCD-004, ezLCD004flash at ezLCD.com. It will not let you undo the ezp, it's a protection thing. You could do a screen print in windows and capture in an editor that way if you want to lift them.
