The External power connector on the 103 is described in the manual as
a "Standard Power Jack 2.1x5.5mm". I wanted to power the screen from
my system without soldering anything onto the board. I figured I
didn’t want to cut my only power supply so I went to radio shack and
bought a adaptaplug tip "M" which claims to have a 5.5mm Outside
diameter and a 2.1mm inside diameter but it doesn’t seem to fit. it
seems like the inside diameter is too small for the prong on the CN5
connector.

Any suggestions on where to find the correct plug? Preferably just the
jack with a couple inches of wire.

Daniel,
The jack is a 5.5mm x 2.5mm. The manual needs to be updated.
